pagebuilder 2 breaks Dona 2 site - by: skyfire12

I loaded the Dona 2 site and had problems with core components so i statred turning off extensions. When i unistalled Pagebuilder it broke the modules created by it but at least every other module worked. I downloaded the zipped install of PB2 and reinstalled promptly returning to 1149 errors when accessing a contact or banner or any core component.... what do i do to fix this? Brand new installation from Joomlashine full install package of Dona 2 Joomla3 ....

Backend Template Keeps Overwriting My CSS Edits - by: mishi

I spent an hour editing the CSS files to my preferred colors. I then went in and uploaded my logo and saved the template in Admin. It overwrote all of the CSS I had just changed. I see you have capabilities in the admin template to set colors but I would prefer to do it in the CSS on my own. Where is it overwriting and how can I stop it?

Hi there,

I´d like to change the width of header and footer fitting to main-content-width (which is responsive to max 960px). unfortunately i can´t find the switch for this modification either in ./templates/css/colors/blue.css nor in ./templates/css/layouts/jsn_wide.css nor in ./template/css/styles/*

Is there any possibility to get this working?

PB2 has problem with the latest update 1.2 - by: Grobman

Hello,

since we updated the latest version of the PB2 we have again problems working on the page.
1. We can't link URL's to paragraphs or Pictures. It mostly wont save it or delete the content (Happened with pictures when I linked an URL)
2. The Content we did so far looks messed up since 1.2 this means that Paragraphs and Headers and Buttons etc. has been sticked together and it looks like it doesnt have any space between the contents. When I creat a new page it works totaly fine even if I add 2 elements in 1 column but the old Content has really really big issues with this and this is around 60% of your page (Attachment)

Can you pleas fix this as soon as possible ?

I downloaded the jan cube free but having trouble setting up a menu I get this message when I go into menu in joomla An error has occurred 1054 Unknown column 'client_id' in 'field list' I am setting website up in local host on my computer I am using joomla 3.7.0

Own font, responsive in easy slider, how? - by: kinling

Hi there,
I am a bit confused:
I have a full screen slider with:
Background image
a small box (41 *5 pixel)
A headline ( h3)
A subheadline (h1)
I am using my own font ( not a google font.
The font works everywhere, so i am sure the font is installed proberly.
My question:
I want the fonts shrink to the different devices.
I was thinking of using "px" or "em" as size.
Is there a difference of using own classes?
In the text field:
<h1 class="slider"> text </h1>
or in the attributes just add the class slider in the class area?
Do I have to arrange for every device (desktop, nb, tablet, mobil) or can I just let it 'shrink'?


What is the best way to controll the size of fonts in the slider regarding other devices?

as written above it's not possible to update JSN Power Admin and Sun Framework.
While trying to update JSN Power Admin I get the following error: 404, component not found.
While trying to update Sun Framework it's loading and loading without doing anything.

Could you please check?

I am trying to use PB2 when creating a module for pricing. One of the things that seems to be a limitation is that only 3 items or points about the pricing in each table can be used. Can this be changed so that more items can be placed under each pricing column? If so where do I find that setting?

JSN Pagebuilder 2 breaks new Dona 2 installation - by: skyfire12

I installed the Dona 2 full install with Joomla and Virtuemart from Joomlashine. Everything seemed fine until I noticed that I could not access any contact without throwing an 1149 Error dbname#__ table does not exist. After testing around I found that no other core Joomla 3.6 now .7 component worked to access such as banners, etc. You can create a contact, banner etc. but you cant access it without 1146 errors. I started turning off plugins and it started working once I killed Pagebuilder 2, so I uninstalled PB2, made sure the DB was clear of any PB2 table remnants, checked the folder structure of Joomla to clear leave behinds and proved the site was fine other than the modules based on PB2 no longer formatting correctly. As soon as I redownloaded PB2 and reinstalled it the problem immediately came back so I left it installed but crippled the 5 PB2 plugins so I can get around in the site elsewhere. I then re-enabled each PB2 plugin one by one and its the SYSTEM PB2 plugin that causes the 1146 table does not exist errors. Any ideas on what is causing the issue and how to fix it???

Hello,

we use blogs on our page www.grobmanschwarz.de/project/blog .
Since 1.2 our linked Blogs wont show up and turning into a 404-Page and that on every Blogkategory. (Listed Blogs).
Can you fix this please?

Anyway how is this going to look like in the near future? Everytime you make an update to fix something. An new Issues appears which used to work and that keeps going since I use this PB.

Pagebuilder & K2 Item & Category Problems after update to Joomla 3.7.1 - by: mickelb

Since updating to Joomla 3.7.1, using Pagebuilder 1.3.9 & PHP 5.6.30, I have these issues:

1) If I try to save a K2 Item or Category in Pagebuilder view it doesn't save, or takes a really long time to save, unless I change the page view, e.g. by selecting the Display Settings tab, or change the view to Default Editor.

2) After editing in Pagebuilder view when I first click "Save" or "Save and Close" I get a pop up message warning that I am leaving the page and any changes my be lost. Fortunately the changes don't get lost (once it actually saves), but why am I now getting this message?

Hi,

After installing today JSN Dona 2 I have an error message comming up:

1146 Table 'izabelak1_n7ym.#__' doesn't exist
The page you are looking for was moved, removed, renamed or might never existed.

to explain what has happened - I have installed the template and chose for all the data to be imported as per the demo version (I was OK with overwriting my own website as I wanted to rebuild it form the beginning) - site was taken offline for that. I am now left (when loging in to the offline site) with the above message and no content - not the original one and no sample data either. It appeard to believe that the website was moved?
Could you please have a look and advise?

Hi there,

I've just updated the template files to the latest version and now I have an error message and the website won't load.

The front page shows this 404 - Oops! syntax error, unexpected '<', expecting end of file

I have two sites running identical templates, the one I updated is here - www.teigndivingcentre.co.uk/ - and the one I have not updated yet is here - www.plymouthdivingcentre.co.uk/

Any help greatly appreciated - I need this back up online asap!!

Difficulty setting object parameters in 1.2.0 (padding, margins, custom class) - by: enovikoff

When I try to edit margins or padding in a section/column, the numbers can no longer be set by dragging (please bring that back!) Also, you cannot edit the '5 px' contents but instead you have to erase all and type '7 px' instead. Sometimes, the settings panels don't even show the fields, just a big blank black area where you can click to enter the field contents if you know where they are.

Also, I tried to set the custom CSS class name for the section in my module (#299, Homepage Services Menu) and I could not set it. When I clicked in the content area, the cursor went there, but then if I tried to type anything, the popup would close.

Hover parameters are erased when opening PB2 - by: enovikoff

When I set hover parameters for an element (in my case a column background) and save the document, then display it, the elements show the hover properties. However if I re-open the document in PB2, it clears the hover properties. So I have to reset them every time I edit!

In this video I set the column background for the hover state, save, then go look at the live site and see that it works, then reopen the document and see that the hover settings are gone, resave, and confirm that they are gone on the live site.
